Ruk Digest 2/14

Hello Fellow Rukkers!

1. The Future Of Architecture: A Floating Village In The Middle Of A Forest

This will be built in Paris with construction planning on starting in the next two years.

I love this idea of combining nature with architecture. Would love to live in something like this someday.

2. Need Help Designing A Good PowerPoint Deck? Use SlidesCamp

You can search for and download different PowerPoint designs to use for your next presentation.

3. Make Money Selling Your Unwanted Clothes

Poshmark is a marketplace to buy and sell your old clothing.

Unfortunately, its currently only limited to women's clothes.

DC Upcoming Event

Amy Cuddy, the woman who did the TED Talk on power posing is coming to DC to talk about her new book.

Showcasing this a bit early because it can likely sell out. I already bought my ticket.

February 25th @ 7pm.

Thought of the Week

"A person’s success in life can usually be measured by the number of uncomfortable conversations he or she is willing to have."

- Tim Ferriss

My Focus List

(An interesting experiment to show a list of things on my mind.)

The list didn't change from last week. I didn't accomplish any of this =(.

1. Create a website for The Ruk Digest
2. Work out more to get more tone
3. Buy a shredder
4. Finish reading Creativity, Inc
5. Install a Dashcam in my car
6. Go to the doctor for stupid elbow pain, urghhhh
7. Finish writing article for Medium - more like start writing it again

(This isn't everything on my mind, but it certainly covers a lot of my "To Do")
